Hoback Volunteer Firefighter Association BBQ

At this year’s Hoback Volunteer Firefighter Association BBQ, firefighters wore their CrewBoss fire-resistant Nomex aprons with pride while cooking up 2800 pounds of pork ribs.

“The moment I saw your BBQ Nomex apron in the recent CrewBoss Catalog, I knew we needed it for our annual Hoback Volunteer Firefighter Association BBQ Rib Picnic,” said Kathy Clay of Jackson Hole Fire and EMS. The annual fund raising event for the small 12 – member fire station is put on each year to help support the needs of the firefighters and their community.

“The racks of ribs are prepared with special attention from the firefighters, who season, cook them for hours and soak them in the local favorite Hoback sauce. The ribs are then served up to the local and loyal Hoback community,” says Clay. This year’s addition of the CrewBoss fire – resistant apron helped the fire crew keep clean while adding a little more fun to the event.

The enthusiasm for this annual event continues to support the efforts of these local heroes. “Funds raised from this year’s August 15th, 2009 picnic will go toward new extrication tools for the Hoback Volunteer Fire and EMS team,” says Clay.

CrewBoss is proud our products have helped to protect these firefighters, both on the fire line and on the BBQ line.
